Whitemoor Manor

The concept design for Whitemoor Manor proposed retaining the existing bungalow and extend it to allow for more ancillary uses. The concept proposed the recladding of the building with new materials such as stone, black bricks and white render, anthracite grey aluminium doors, windows, fascias and soffits, large balconies, and pergolas to aid with the south-facing exposure to sun.

 

The proposal included a large glazed entrance hall fronted by two beautiful gallery walkways looking onto the lobby, spacious dining room, drawing room, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, a library, two study rooms, and 14 bedrooms.

 

It also proposed internal courtyards with water features to mitigate the noise pollution and planting, cinema room, wine room, games room, sauna and jacuzzi, and a beautiful large indoor/outdoor swimming pool overlooking the large breathtaking views towards the green woodlands.

The proposal included an integration within the existing site, proposing multiple fountains, wild tree landscaping, an orchard, ample of bench and seating throughout a serenity garden, a japanese inspired garden, a playground court, a pond, and associated parking for staff and visitors.
